Sarah Hasted is a founder and owner of Chelsea-based contemporary art gallery Hasted Hunt and Hasted Kraeutler. She has been a curator and dealer for over 25 years, consulted for many private collectors, and placed artwork with many major museums as well as corporate collections. Hasted has also been an adjunct professor at The Parson's School of Design since 2003. Hasted is on the Board of a not for profit organization, Moving Mountains, founded by actor Jamie Hector from the Wire. This organization provides a theater arts program for at risk urban youth. Hasted was honored by Moving Mountains in 2014, in recognition of her contributions to the community.
